Tattooed bad girl meets eccentric rich man.

Two complete opposites, each refusing to become someone they are not, trudge forward in their respective lives, hoping something will change. And, one day, their two worlds collide.

Stevie is a foul-mouthed tattoo artist who is only attracted to alpha males, bikers, and tattooed bad boys. Frustrated that yet another boyfriend has abused her, she has traveled halfway across the nation to a new city and wonders if she'll ever find a mate.

Today, standing in the rain without a ride, she is having a bad day.

Wilson is a self-made millionaire. In his life, and throughout earning his hundreds of millions, he has learned money can't buy happiness nor can it buy love. Home-schooled and raised without the comfort of siblings or friends, his lifelong hope of finding someone to suit him has gone unanswered.

Today, he is having the worst of days. He's exhausted and despite all of his riches, he's simply done trying to continue...

As fate would have it on this dreary day, they meet. Standing before each other, completely opposite in appearance, they can't help but individually wonder how their respective lives may change if they were able to see beyond what is on the surface and accept who the other person really is instead of concentrating on what they appear to be.

Neither wants anything more than to love and be loved.

If they can somehow make this work, their lives will be forever changed.
Pretty In Ink is an erotic romance novel of lust, loss, and eventually, love. This stand-alone novel has the best of HEAs, no cheating, and no sex outside the relationship. Prepare for a modern day Cinderella tale, but due to the graphic nature of the sex, please be over 18 to enjoy this read. This novel is Book II of the Bodies Ink and Steel series, a series of stand-alone books about the individual lives of the tattoo artists who are employed at "Blurred Lines", a tattoo shop.

Stand-alone, HEA, no cheating, no sex outside the relationship, and no club whores.
"Vince" is a member of the Selected Sinners MC, an enforcer, and an administrator of justice. He is the real-life book boyfriend most women dream of. Handsome, tattooed, covered in muscles, and very alpha, he appears to be a dream come true. One thing most of his MC brothers do not realize about him is that he spends his nights reading romance novels, and has since he was a kid. He lives by a set of moral standards most men wouldn't even dream of attempting, and enjoys Sunday dinners with his mother and her dog.

Sienna Boyco is a book reviewer who enjoys music, wine, and reviewing books; primarily MC Romance novels. She has dreamt of one day being swept off her feet by the men she reads about in her books. One night, after two bottles of wine and two book reviews, her doorbell rings.

And on her front porch stands a stranded biker.

A trip to the gas station leads to a talk about books, and a friendship develops.

But after divorcing his wife of 15 years for cheating, Vince has very little trust in women and no interest in a relationship.

Sienna, on the other hand, will take what she can get and hope in time things will change.

Is it possible for a book reviewer with no history of criminal activity or violence to actually fall in love with a real life biker?

        Sienna intends to find out.

Six years ago, a positive pregnancy test destroyed Ava. Her goals, her relationship, the entire way she viewed her future.
From the rubble, a rule was created: No bad boys.
In their wake is chaos and destruction, something she could no longer risk.
Ava has been happy with this rule, until now.
The bad boy across the hall makes her want to abandon it. Those hazel eyes piercing her, as though they can read her mind. That gentle smile as he interacts with her son. Dax awakens something in her that she’s never felt before.
Will she regret opening her heart to another bad boy?
Dax is determined to earn back the respect he lost for himself years ago and create a future he can be proud of. He’s spent his life breaking rules and now he has a rigid set of rules to live by.
Ava is a distraction he doesn’t need.
Nothing like the women from his past, everything about her from her adorable son to the paint constantly covering her hands reminds him of why he needs to focus. He knows the look in her eyes, he fights the urge to give in to that look. He doesn’t deserve it, at least not yet.
Will Dax ever feel like he’s earned it, or will a call from his past cause him to push her away for good?

Smiling as Noah sprinkles icing sugar onto the pancakes fresh off the skillet, I set the plate onto a tray and arrange it so it looks somewhat fancy.

“Noah, why don’t you grab the present and I will carry this?” He runs to the tree and digs out the gift we have hidden at the back.

Together, we walk down the hall and push silently into the bedroom. Ava sleeps peacefully, her lips partly open and her arm flung above her head. She’s so beautiful.

Noah looks up at me, his eyes shining with excitement, and I nod. Racing to the bed, he jumps on Ava. “Merry Christmas, Momma!”

Ava blinks sleepily, a smile lighting up her face as she sits up. She kisses Noah on the forehead, her eyes locked on mine, before seeing the tray in my hands. “Oh wow. I’m so spoiled.”

“Open our present first.” Noah thrusts the gift bag onto her lap, bouncing in place as she pulls out the tissue paper. I set the tray down on her nightstand and move to sit beside her, pulling Noah onto my lap.

Ava pulls out the canvas Noah and I made for her. Noah painted the background a mixture of greens, blues and purples, all swirling together. He’s inherited his mom’s artistic talent. Together we glued a photo of the three of us and then added some paper flowers I found at a craft store.

“This is beautiful. You made it?” Her fingers run softly over the textures, eyes locked on the photo. It’s from one of our summer drives, we found this amazing waterfall just off the highway and a tourist was nice enough to take our photo.

“We fell down the rabbit hole that is Pinterest.” Grinning as she stares at the painting, every painful moment spent on that site is worth the look in her eyes. Ava sets it aside, curling into me.

“This is the best gift I could have gotten. Thank you.” She tilts her chin up, her lips begging for mine. Kissing her gently, I wrap my arms around my family.

“You should have heard Dad cursing. Aunty Andie yelled at him.” Noah rats me out, laughing when I tickle him.

“Shh. You’re going to get me in trouble.” Laughing, I wink at Ava as she pretends to glare at me.

Handing Ava her breakfast, I watch her and Noah joke around. This is my gift, being with the two most important people in my life, my family. I couldn’t ask for more.

The No Asshole Rule

✰✰✰✰✰

I received and ARC for an honest review.

Everyone has a past but some are worse and more complicated than others. Andie has had it rough when it came to the men in her life making it hard for her to trust anyone with her heart. She's closed off and has the look that scares most men off. She's made it a rule to not date assholes and it's worked for her until Lucas slams the door in her face.

Despite his asshole move he proves to her that her initial assumption of him is wrong. He doesn't give up but she fears that one day her crazy and her secrets will scare him off.

Lucas isn't looking for any kind of relationship. He's not even willing to look for a one nighter but when he sees Andie and just how hard she is trying to keep everyone at a distance he can't help but be drawn in and break his rule. But is her constant fleeing too much or is she worth the constant struggle to have a future with her?

I loved the characters and the way Lucas shows Andie how a real man treats his woman. In spite of her constant running and holding back from him he keeps pushing and makes him a perfect book boyfriend. Andie being skittish when it comes to men is understandable but the author still portrays her strength over her past as she struggles to push herself past her usual boundaries.

The No Bad Boy Rule

✰✰✰✰✰

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Ava is a single mother trying to get her life on track. She was hurt once by someone and doesn't want that to happen again.
Dax is a reformed bad boy trying to move on from his past. In order to stay focused on the future he keeps himself closed off.
This was a great story. I loved the fact that their relationship was not a conventional one. It's what made the book so good an believable. Dax and Ava were a perfect couple because they were able to thaw out each other's frozen heart.
My only critique is that the story ended too abruptly. I wanted more.
