Pre-Order Indigo Nights by Louise Bay

The only thing better than cake is cake with a side of orgasms.

Dylan James has no expectations when it comes to relationships. He uses women for sex and they use him for his money and power. It’s quid pro quo and he's good with that. It works.

Beth Harrison has been burned. She's tired of the lies and the game playing that men bring and has buried herself in her passion—baking which keeps her out of the reach of heartbreak. As she begins her career as a TV baker, a new world opens up to her.

Dylan and Beth both know that casual sex is all about giving what you need to get what you want.
Except that sometimes you give more than you need to and get everything you ever wanted.

It's on at a special pre-order price at the moment of $2.99/£1.99 and will go up when it's released on 9 FEBRUARY

As the president of the Sin City Outlaw Motorcycle Club, l fuck as hard as I ride and rarely go to bed alone.
The women are fast and the violence is intense.
I excel in both.
People either respect me or fear me. I'm not arrogant. It’s just the truth.
I was a king, reigning over Vegas without complication, until one gorgeous sheriff made everything fall apart.
When I saw her, I became a Neanderthal, wanting nothing more than to be between those legs.
I guess that’s where I went wrong, because my reality was shot to hell real
fucking fast.
One kiss caused her to step over that blue line.
One night in her bed made me a traitor.

And now… we’re both screwed.

EXCERPT
“Really? You got me donuts?” I arch a brow, dropping the lid.
He turns, a mischievous smile fitting his face.
“Don’t all cops like donuts?” he jeers. I roll my eyes, placing my hand on my hip.
“That’s so stereotypical,” I huff.
“Oh, really?” he replies, grabbing the box off the table, a smug smile still on his face.
“I’ll get rid of them then.”
“No, wait!” I nearly trip over my feet trying to grab the box of donuts. He holds them higher than me and smiles so big I think I see two dimples. Really, he’s pulling the notorious bully move holding them just above my reach? Why am I attracted to him again?
“I thought you didn’t like them,” he taunts.
“I do like them. A lot, actually.” I cross my arms, my cheeks flushing. My dad used to always take me to the local bakery to get donuts on the weekends. I would get whatever I wanted—usually anything with sprinkles—and we would drop the rest off at the department. What can I say, embrace your stereotypes.
“So, it’s true. Cops love donuts,” he states arrogantly, sitting the box back down.

✰✰✰✰✰
Holy Hell! I mean damn I loved this book! I couldn’t read fast enough!

Jillian is a rookie with the Las Vegas Sheriff’s Department. She is bold, feisty, stubborn and she has that new rookie smell. Her last night riding before she goes out on her own she gets a call to a casino and comes face to face with the president of the Sin City Outlaws. He is big and he’s mean and when he mouths off to her she whips out her cuffs to bring him in. But he’s actually amused by her actions and though they are polar opposites he is drawn to her.

When a party Jillian is at goes to hell in a hand basket and Jillian needs to be rescued she is shocked to find herself in the hands of none other than Zevin DeLuca.

Zeek is a hardcore, meaner than a rattlesnake, rotten SOB, or is he? The night that Zeek rescues Jillian, he kisses her. She says it’s a mistake but when they cross paths again the pull between them is too much, even though Jillian is arresting him at the time.

The two can’t stay away from each other and Zeek finds himself feeling things he hasn’t felt in years, if he ever did at all. Before long he finds himself in love with the deputy but he knows that if anyone finds out about them, their lives are forfeit and Zeek is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that from happening, even if it means killing for her.

When things take a brutal turn for the couple, their lives are turned upside down and Jillian’s life is blown apart. Everything she thought she knew isn’t real and her life is crumbling before her eyes.

First, I have nothing but love for the Clark County Sheriff’s Department and LVMPD, being from Vegas and having friends in both I know their job is not easy and they put their lives on the line every day.

Second, I freaking loved this book! I was drawn in from the start and it just kept drawing me in line by line. I didn’t skip a word! I devoured it! Jillian is everything you would find in a rookie. Fresh and ready to conquer the world and take down the bad guys. She is also very real when her world is crushed, you can feel her pain and it breaks you knowing what she is about to face! And Zeek, holy hotter than sin!  The devil himself wouldn’t want him because he might take over. He’s been brought up rough and has no softness in his sexy ass at all, but when he starts to thaw and his heart comes out, I just wanted to melt in my panties, I squirmed, I sighed and at one point I think I may have moaned. He is just that HOT!

I can’t wait to get into the next book! I am seriously angry that I have to wait for more of Zeek and Jillian! I NEED it and I NEED it NOW!

Synopsis
Once Rose Fisher makes a decision, that’s it. End of story.

Like when her ex, Patrick, dumped her out of the blue, then showed up with a super hot, tatted up sex kitten on his arm. Then it was over for good. The end. Poof. Dead to her. Except he was everywhere — down the hall, at the bar with their friends, worming his way into her dreams.

But with their friends paired off, they’re left alone more and more. Rose is determined to keep him friendzoned — doesn’t matter that he stares at her with a smolder that drops all panties in a ten foot radius. She’s over him, and she’ll prove it by getting back into the dating game, Patrick be damned.

Patrick Evans is no stranger to consequences. When your mother walks out, your dad drifts away. When you leave home, you’re on your own. And when you run away from the girl you love, you lose her. He finally has an opportunity to rebuild the bridge he burned, and it’s not one he’ll take for granted. But he’ll have to fight for her, even if it hurts. Even if it means he’ll walk away brokenhearted. Because deep down, he knows that she’s it for him.

The trick will be to get her to admit she feels it too.

About the Author
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom; she has three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife; even though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. Her favorite word starts with f and ends with k.

From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

Review: Redeeming Rhys

Redeeming Rhys Redeeming Rhys by Mary E. Palmerin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Talk about dark, twisted, evil and mind bending.

Rhys is by far the darkest character I have read, and I have read some pretty dark s*&t! His childhood sucked and he became the epitome of broken. After ten years away from home he is driven to return.

Wren is the girl Rhys left behind. She has a troubled past of her own, but she has never gotten over Rhys. Wren is not normal and needs her own healing.

The beatings that Rhys took as a child will haunt you for the rest of your life. You will feel his pain as though it is your own. You can feel Wren’s powerlessness at being able to help her step-brother when they were children as though it’s a living breathing thing.

Rhys’ need to seek redemption shows that he still has a tiny tiny bit of goodness in him and you can’t help but root for this killer and the deviant that he has become. Even though it feels wrong you can’t help but love him. The main POV comes from Rhys, and the view into his mind gives you a very clear, astonishing, scary look at what drove him down the path he has taken.

There are twists and a huge turn of events that you won’t see coming. The book is very well written but let me make it very clear, this is not a “oh he’s just a bad boy” book. This book is so dark that you can feel it slither over your body. There are no rainbows, no unicorns, there is sickness, child abuse, darkness and evil in its purest form. Nothing can prepare you for the story between the covers, it’s something you have to read for yourself, with the lights on, in the daytime and long before you go to bed.

 About the Author

CD Reiss is a USA Today and Amazon bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up, she’s at the well, hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it did embed TV story structure in her head well enough for her to take a big risk on a TV series structured erotic series called Songs of Submission. It’s about a kinky billionaire hung up on his ex-wife, an ingenue singer with a wisecracking mouth; art, music and sin in the city of Los Angeles.

Critics have dubbed the books “poetic,” “literary,” and “hauntingly atmospheric,” which is flattering enough for her to put it in a bio, but embarrassing enough for her not to tell her husband, or he might think she’s some sort of braggart who’s too good to give the toilets a once-over every couple of weeks or chop a cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
